17 de abr. de 2017 · The University of Michigan Medical School was one of the first places to use virtual microscopy for teaching students about normal tissue morphology, a field called histology. The U-M histology teaching team digitized hundreds of slides from the U-M collection for use by the university's medical and dental students.
The authors have updated and revised the original manual as an eBook version that allows histology learners to link the theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures and textbooks with the appearance of cells and organs as seen through a light microscope or by virtual microscopy.
