Walk 30, 40 or 50 kilometres a day for four days through the green landscapes in and around Nijmegen. Civilians, military personnel and other men and women in uniform, whole families and entire groups of friends together make this the largest and most festive walking event in the world.
The traditional opening act of the 4Days Marches is the festive and colourful Flag Parade, when about 1,500 walkers - military servicemen and women and civilian groups from dozens of countries - march through the city to De Wedren on Sunday afternoon in a festive and musical parade.
