The online MFT consists of 25 graduate-level courses taught by experts in the field. Northwestern faculty comprises active practitioners who are leaders within prominent national, international, and state-level professional organizations, including the American Association for Marriage and Family.
MFT@Northwestern offers rolling admissions, with four program start dates per year in January, April, June, and September. Each cohort has an early decision, priority, and final deadline. You are not required to submit a GRE score to gain admission to the program.
12 de sept. de 2023 · The Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MSMFT) is a COAMFTE accredited terminal degree program. With this degree, following a period of post-graduate supervised practice, graduates can become licensed as marriage and family therapists.
The online branch of the program consists of 25 graduate-level courses. Students attend both live, online class sessions and asynchronous course components, learning from highly qualified instructors with clinical experience.

A degree in behavioral or family sciences is preferred, but if your background is in another field, you must take (or have previously taken) an introduction to psychology and a human development course.
