RADA Studios (formerly The Drill Hall) is a theatrical venue in Chenies Street in Bloomsbury, just to the east of Tottenham Court Road in the West End of London. Owned by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), the building contains rehearsal rooms, meeting rooms, and the 200-seat Studio Theatre.

At the entrance to RADA Studios from the street, there are two steps on the left and a short ramp on the right, leading to a set of double doors. These are not very heavy but if help is required to open them, staff on reception will be able to see you and assist.

On Saturday I headed down to Rada Studios in Bloomsbury to watch Jessica Rachid’s play OILS, which was shown as part of the Bloomsbury Festival 2023. The play tells the story of an Iranian woman’s relationship with her abusive Irish husband as they embark on a journey to fix up and open a kebab shop on Brick Lane.
