The Mark of Zorro is a 1974 American Western television film which stars Frank Langella alongside Gilbert Roland, Yvonne De Carlo, Anne Archer, Ricardo Montalbán and Robert Middleton. It was also a backdoor pilot for a television series on which ABC-TV declined to pick up the option.
Título original: The Mark of Zorro. Sinopsis: 1840. Dos Diego de la Vega vuelve a España con su familia en California para encontrar que ha sido reemplazado como gobernante de la zona por el cruel Don Luis Quintero.
Diego arrives at Quintero's hacienda to take Inez for a ride. They see some children near a 'Z' that has been marked on the hacienda. Don Diego relates a story of a case in Madrid similar to Zorro in which a man left a cross as a mark and slits the throats of 40 or 50 people.
