Women Assisting Recovering Mothers (WARM) at the Vince Carter Sanctuary is a long-term residential treatment facility for women exhibiting symptoms of drug and/or alcohol dependence, and for women who are pregnant or post-partum.
In 2007, Vince and his mother, Michelle Carter-Scott, donated $1.6 million to the Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation for a new 100-bed substance abuse treatment facility in Flagler County, Florida. The facility is called “Vince Carter Sanctuary” and includes a multipurpose building named in honor of Michelle Carter-Scott.
