Armenia (en armenio: Հայաստան Hayastan ⓘ), oficialmente la República de Armenia (Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն, Hayastani Hanrapetut'yun), es un país de Transcaucasia sin salida al mar localizado en Europa Oriental y Asia Occidental.
Armenia (/ ɑːr ˈ m iː n i ə / ⓘ ar-MEE-nee-ə), officially the Republic of Armenia, is a landlocked country in the Armenian Highlands of West Asia. It is a part of the Caucasus region and is bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north and Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the south.

Construido en el siglo I de nuestra era, es la estructura precristiana mejor conservada del país y uno de los lugares turísticos más visitados de Armenia.
