Melding elements from various musical landscapes including dream pop, shoegaze, and dub, the duo crafted an experience that is at once ethereal, introspective, and intriguingly experimental.
A.R. Kane are a great band and their best work shows that fact. However, judging from the other songs I've heard from them and what I've read about their discography, 69 is less worried about being their best work to that point and more about pushing genre boundaries.

690th Rating: 69 by A.R. Kane. A.R. Kane have been on my radar for a few years now. They were one of the first names mentioned by articles and fellow Shoegaze fans when I expressed interest in the dancier side of the genre.
