A.R. Kane (sometimes AR Kane or A.R.Kane) was a British musical duo formed in 1986 by Alex Ayuli and Rudy Tambala. After releasing two early EPs to critical acclaim, the group topped the UK Independent Chart with their debut album 69 (1988). Their second album, "i" (1989), was also a top 10 hit.
A.R Kane are Alex Ayuli and Rudy Tambala, both from Stratford, East London, UK, where they formed the band at the end of 1985. They made music together between 1986 and 1994, and released with One Little Indian, 4AD, Rough Trade, Luaka Bop and Third Stone.
