As a student at DTU, you must have a valid student ID card. You must use the student ID card as proof of identification at exams, when contacting the Study Administration, and when you are on campus. In addition, you must use the student ID card to gain access to DTU's data bars.

DTU-basen er en person-database over samtlige personer, der er tilknyttet DTU: studerende, undervisere, TAP’er, gæster, forskere. Basen bruges til at oprette konti, give rettigheder, samt at skabe roller. Ideen i basen er, at samle alle persondata ét sted, så der ikke oprettes parallelle systemer.
The course base is DTU's collection of course descriptions. Each course description is based on the same template. The following explains the key points.
DTU collects and processes data about you that is relevant to your application for admission and/or studies. DTU’s legal basis for processing this data is Article 6 (1) (b), (c) and (e) of the General Data Protection Regulation. This relates to the following personal data: Name. Address. Civil registration (CPR) number. Nationality.
Rules for choice of courses. Students cannot register for a course they have already passed. A course has been passed if the grade 02 or the assessment ‘Pass’ has been awarded. Reregistrations for passed courses will be rejected. Students can register for courses that form part of their curriculum.
