Pereira was fast tracked because of his history with Izzy no doubt, but also because he was KO-ing people like flies. If this Vakhitov person can string 3 finishes within 12 months just like Pereira did before the first Izzy MMA fight, I'm sure UFC marketing machine can make a title fight happen similarly.

I will agree with you that Silva is quicker, more creative, and more fluid — however, Poatan, is taller (6'4" to 6'2"), has the longer reach (79" to 77"), and is much more technically-solid and experienced in world-class striking at the highest level.

If Alex was susceptible to getting KOd early in the first round he would have by now against dangerous strikers like Hill, Jiri, and Khalil. I think the only person who can beat Alex is another elite kickboxer like Izzy did. If Vakhitov wins a couple id like to see a fast tracked title fight

If Alex Pereira steps in and saves UFC 310 as he did UFC 303 and 300 his bank roll might be pulsating right about now. He has probably renegotiated his contract three times.
