Crucially, Bulawayo is the place where the area’s history was forever changed.
Bulawayo is a laid-back place, but there are plenty of things to do. Its main attraction – the Matobo National Park – is a short drive away. In the city centre, don’t miss a visit to the Natural History Museum: in my opinion it’s the best in Zimbabwe.
