Catch is to take hold of something, especially something that is moving through the air. Seize is to take something quickly and keep or hold it.

She snatched my camera off me. - This is less common in the US, but it is used. If you were not holding the camera, but you were "wearing it" (it was hanging from your shoulder on a strap) this "off me" version would be the most accurate.
