Award winners must comply with these rules and regulations. Award winners shall not sell or otherwise dispose of the Oscar statuette, nor permit it to be sold or disposed of by operation of law, without first offering to sell it to the Academy for the sum of $1.00.
The General Entry eligibility period for the 94th Academy Awards is between March 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021 . The submission deadline for General Entry, including Best Picture, is November 15, 2021 .
30 de jun. de 2021 · The Academy’s Board of Governors has approved rules and campaign regulations for the 94th Academy Awards®. As previously announced, the eligibility period for Academy Awards consideration will return to the standard December 31 deadline: a feature film must have a qualifying release date between March 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021 .
With the gradual re-opening of theaters, there are two methods of qualification for awards consideration in Best Picture and general entry categories for the 94th Academy Awards: 1) Films which are intended for theatrical release, but are initially made available through

Eligibility will be contingent upon submission of the Representation and Inclusion Entry Form (RAISE) and the motion picture meeting the requirements of two of the four Inclusion Standards.

The eligibility period for Academy Awards consideration will return to the full calendar year: a feature film must have a qualifying theatrical release date between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022 .
