  2. History. Caius is the fourth oldest College in the University of Cambridge. The College was first founded as Gonville Hall by Edmund Gonville, Rector of Terrington St Clement in Norfolk, in 1348, and refounded in 1557 by John Caius as Gonville and Caius College.

  6. Caius guarantees accommodation for all undergraduates throughout their time at Cambridge, and for graduates for the first three years of their course. This means we're able to keep rents at fair levels that allow you to budget, and you'll only have to pay for the time you're in College and not waste money on a room you're not using in the vacation.

  8. Of the recent Economics graduates from Caius, most have moved into careers in finance, management consultancy, accountancy and/or postgraduate studies. The Faculty of Economics organises the lectures, classes and examinations for the three year undergraduate course (known as the “Economics Tripos”).

Our four-year Engineering course is designed to produce graduates who aren’t limited by the boundaries between traditional disciplines.
