The character was portrayed by Taylor Kitsch in the live action X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009). A Gambit spin-off was in development since at least May 2014, with Channing Tatum signed on to play the lead role.
X2 9/10. The Wolverine 8/10. X Men 8/10. Origins Wolverine 7/10. The Last Stand 6/10. In my opinion, the movies should end right here. Like, what better ending could there be for this saga? Watching the X Men Movies for the First Time Part 6 : The Wolverine. Pros: I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. It was a lot more grounded and dark than the other films, so it dealt with the science fiction esque tragedies from the X Men trilogy in a more human way. The Jean hallucinations were great, really interesting way to show Logan’s psyche.
