Hace 3 días · Yesterday saw the last of the fixtures take place on the Tideway with the Brookes women taking on Oxford in the local derby. There were some challenging conditions for all to deal with across all racing. In Blue boat fixture, just one piece was rowed between the start line in Putney and the Red Buoy at the crossing point above Chiswick Eyot.
Hace 5 días · Women’s Head 2024 – Another Step Forward. Brookes matched their entry from last year, taking five VIIIs to the Women’s Head of the River on Saturday 9th March. With the entry halved due to the flag status and very little racing prior to this, all the athletes were very keen to show the hard work that had been done over the last months.
