Hace 3 días · Answer: Spiro Agnew Agnew was elected Governor of Maryland in 1966. He was then elected V.P.in 1968 with Nixon and re-elected V.P. in 1972 with Nixon. He resigned in 1973, after he pleaded no contest to Federal Tax evasion. He was sentenced to three years probation and fined $10,000. He then died in September, 1996.
