My first year was not far from interesting, apart from it being my first time in South Africa, I met an interesting location in which Rhodes University is located. Grahamstown/Makhanda is a small town situated in the Eastern Cape, more of a rural settlement so don’t be surprised meeting a donkey or two on your way to class(it is very normal).
