The Otterbury Incident, however, admirably holds up. This is not just a good book. It's an excellent book. A drily humorous book, the Incident tells the story of a group of schoolchildren in a post-war English town who decided to deal with a gang of criminals on their own, reasoning that adults would just muck up the proceedings.
