Biografía. Harold Williams nació el 7 de agosto de 1963 en Brooklyn, Nueva York, EE. UU. Perrineau asistió al la Conservatorio de Shenandoah, donde estudió música y teatro, pero no se graduó. En 1989, Perrineau fue elegido como el original Tyrone Jackson en el estreno mundial de la adaptación teatral de la exitosa película de 1980, Fama.
