2 de jul. de 2024 · Gerd Faltings. I studied at the University of Muenster and received my PhD in 1978 (advisor H.J. Nastold). I spent 1978-79 at Harvard with a stipend from the DFG. Afterwards I became an assistant at the University of Muenster. In 1982 I became full professor at the University of Wuppertal, and then professor at Princeton University in 1985.
