St Kevin's College (also called Redcastle) in Oamaru, New Zealand, is a Catholic, coeducational, integrated, boarding and day, secondary school. It was founded by the Christian Brothers in 1927 for boys and became a co-educational school in 1983 after the Dominican Sisters closed down St Parick's College, Teschemakers, Oamaru.
St Kevin’s College. St Kevin’s College is a coeducational Catholic College set on fifty three acres in beautiful Oamaru. Although it began as a boy's school in 1927, it has changed and developed over the years to meet the needs of an ever changing world, respecting tradition whilst reaching with courage towards the future.
St Kevin’s College is an integrated Catholic Years 9 to 13 school in Oamaru. It has a co-educational on-site hostel situated within an extensive campus. A new principal was appointed in 2021. College Leadership Team. Deborah Barker comes to St Kevin’s College after taking on the role as Principal for 10 years at Santa Maria College, Northcote. Prior to this appointment, she was Deputy Principal at Our Lady of Sion College, Box Hill for 5 years, and 7 years as Director of Faith and Mission at Mount Lilydale Mercy College, Lilydale.
