A 4-LP set with both of the 'Aloha' concerts, kicking off with the famed 1973 TV broadcast of Elvis' legendary performance on the tropical island, 'Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite' and then followed with the newly remastered 'The Alternate Aloha'. In keeping with the original 2LP issue, the concert recording is featured on the first two discs.
11 de feb. de 2007 · Musically I prefer the Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite concert that was broadcast on TV 2 days after this rehearsal concert, although on this ALTERNATE ALOHA rehearsal show Elvis performs a few songs better than he did on the televised concert, notably "Steamroller Blues." I think overall this is a good concert, but yeah on some songs he's sluggish and on a few he flubs some lines.
