24 de ago. de 2019 · When the Band took the stage at Woodstock, late Sunday evening, August 17, 1969, they were a little over a month away from releasing their second recording, The Band (Capitol, the "Brown Album") and a year past the release of their debut recording, Music from Big Pink (Capitol, 1968). Later, on January 12, 1970, the group was featured in Time Magazine as "The New Sound of Country Rock."
