Commissioned (gospel group) Commissioned is an American urban contemporary gospel group from Detroit, Michigan. Members included Fred Hammond, Keith Staten, Karl Reid, Mitchell Jones, Marvin Sapp, Marcus Cole and Montrell Darrett . The group recorded twelve albums over a period of seventeen years, and were nominated for Grammy and Stellar awards.

Anyone can commission music, and any type of music can be commissioned. The cost of a commission is based on length of the work and what forces will be employed. Why not commission a piece of music? Many people shy away from commissioning a new piece of music because they feel the costs can be prohibitive.
The lowest rate I'll go is $100 AUD (around 75 USD at the moment) per minute of music. E.g.
