Homerton College sits to the south of the city of Cambridge. Its core buildings were constructed in the 1870s for Cavendish College, with Homerton College moving to the site in 1894 from its original home on Homerton High Street in East London. Founded in 1768 by a group of dissenting academics, it has retained its free-thinking roots.

Homerton has a variety of music societies to suit every taste. The Charter Choice, created in 2010, is the main College Choir. It has developed a very good and rising reputation in a Cambridge filled with excellent college choices. We also have a non-audition choir.
Homerton Accommodation Information. Usually, all first-year students are resident in College, except for a small number of mature students will family commitments. You do not need to apply for accommodation, as it will automatically be allocated to you for your first year. First year students are usually housed in a building called, West House.
