Dwight Twilley, född 6 juni 1951 i Tulsa, Oklahoma, död 18 oktober 2023 i Tulsa, Oklahoma, [1] var en amerikansk sångare, gitarrist och låtskrivare. Hans musik associeras framförallt med powerpop. Twilley bildade tillsammans med Phil Seymour bandet Oister 1967.
Full Biography. Dwight Twilley and partner Phil Seymour created an enduring and highly memorable brand of power pop that blended Beatlesque pop and Sun rockabilly “slapback” echo. Only a fraction of the band’s early output was made available at the time, but these records are highly revered by power pop aficionados.

Secondly because one wouldn’t normally expect one of the great, Anglo-influenced pop craftsmen of the 1970s to come out of Tulsa, Oklahoma – which is exactly what he did.
