14 de may. de 2021 · Leigh had a second miscarriage in 1956, per Harper's Bazaar, and accompanied Olivier on his tour for the play "Titus Andronicus," often directing angry outbursts at her husband and the rest of the cast.The couple separated in 1958; Leigh began dating actor Jack Merivale, who was her partner until her death from tuberculosis in 1967, and Oliver began dating his future wife, actress Joan Plowright.

It has been said that shortly before he died, Olivier watched a movie starring Leigh, and with tears in his eyes, said: "This, this was love."
