Bill Nighy figure parallèlement dans des œuvres plus sérieuses comme Chronique d’un scandale de Richard Eyre, avec son amie Judi Dench et Cate Blanchett (2006), et Walkyrie de Bryan Singer, avec Tom Cruise et Kenneth Brannagh.
