Biography. Deliverance (Hazeltine) Dane was accused of witchcraft in the Salem Witch Trials. Deliverance Hazeltine was the daughter of Robert and Anna Hazeltine of Rowley, Massachusetts. She was born some time after May 14, 1654, when her older sister of the same name was buried. She was noted in Robert Hazeltine's will as his daughter.

Her husband, Nathaniel Dane, was the son of Reverend Francis Dane, who had been a critic of the trials. Due to his criticism of the trials, it should not come as a shock that his daughters and daughter-in-law were among the accused of witchcraft.
