Georgia’s only scenic rail, the toy train Kukushka (‘cuckoo’ in Russian) is a 37-kilometre narrow-gauge railway that runs between Borjomi spa town and Bakuriani winter resort. It first opened in 1902. Riding the Kukushka is a very popular winter activity in Georgia.
