This story of adventure amidst war is about imprisoned Allied soldiers who plot their escape from a German camp, thereby forcing Nazi soldiers away from the battle during WWII.
Given it's whopper of an international cast consisting of Charles Bronson, Alain Delon, Ursula Andress and Toshiro Mifune, it's a mystery why this isn't more well known. Oddly enough this western isn't directed by Leone as you might expect but by Terence Young (known for the earlier Bond movies like Dr No, From Russia with Love and Thunderball).
