Terry Chimes is a British musician, drummer, and chiropractor. He was born on 5 July 1956 in London, England. He is best known as the original drummer for the punk rock band The Clash. Chimes began playing drums at the age of 12 and was a member of several bands before joining The Clash in 1976.
