As of August 5, 2020, the Red Cross had programmed approximately $521.9 million on emergency relief and recovery efforts for people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Like many large employers in current times, Red Cross has moved away from its defined-benefit pension plan, in favor of a 401(k) defined-contribution program.
