I say ‘blueprint’, because the future records (‘Fragile’, ‘Close to the Edge’, notoriously ‘Tales from Topographic Oceans’, and ‘Relayer’ - sans Wakeman) would evolve as changes in personnel pushed their songwriting into even more extended - lengthy - directions.
