Our primary mission is to support the curriculum and research needs of faculty and students at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.

  6. Tony Arnold is the Boehl Chair in Property and Land Use at the University of Louisville, teaching in both the Brandeis School of Law and the Department of Urban and Public Affairs. His research and teaching are at the intersection of land use, water, the environment, public policy, evolving governance institutions, and social and racial justice.

  7. In honor of Brandeis, the University of Louisville School of Law changed its name to the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 1997. [ citation needed ] The school's Louis D. Brandeis Society, established in 1976, awards the Brandeis Medal to individuals whose lives reflect Louis Brandeis' commitment to the ideals of individual liberty, concern for the disadvantaged and public service.
