Indians killed his father, named Abraham Lincoln, while he was clearing farmland, leaving young Thomas and his family fatherless. He moved to Hardin County, Kentucky in 1802, and one year later, purchased his first farm. Thomas married Nancy Hanks on June 12, 1806.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ann Kohn, his sister Cynthia Woodard, his brother-in-law Daniel Damewood, and his parents-in-law Lloyd and Elizabeth Damewood. A visitation to honor Tom's life will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512.
