The acting is a bit, er, well bad. It's kinda sucky. BUT, the story was intriguing. The idea that humans wouldn't be able to save themselves from alien enslavement is the more realistic. And the kid frying his tracking implant and controlling the robots is, admit it, cool. C'mon guys, it's got giant robots, and a sort-of-superhero.
