An odd assortment of women arrive, revealing hidden secrets, as Altman flashes back, showing the women as young James Dean fans, and then jumps forward to present day to reveal the ravages of time and lost innocence.

Altman's widow was there, as were a couple of other people involved in the production, and they had great stories to tell about its production. I also happened to see Looking for Mr. Goodbar in the same Lincoln Center theater several months before that.
