Robin George Collingwood (Cartmel Fell, Lancashire, 22 de febrero de 1889 – Coniston, Cumbria, 9 de enero de 1943) fue un filósofo e historiador británico. Hijo del académico William Garson Collingwood ( professor of fine arts de la University of Reading ), se educó en Rugby School y el University College , de Oxford , donde se graduó con honores de primera clase.
