Sir Alf Ramsey’s time as the England Manager ended in 1974 due to not qualifying for the World Cup. In their final qualifying game against Poland, they had to win. They drew 1-1 which lead to his sacking.

He began his managerial career with Ipswich Town, helping them win the League Championship (1962) before managing (1963–74) the national team.

Manager Arthur Rowe used just 19 players when we won the Division One title for the first time in season 1950-51. Now, 65 years on, we pay tribute to each one.
