Met o.a. Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, Julianne Moore, John C. Reilly en Don Cheadle. VPRO Cinema. De zeventienjarige keukenhulp Eddie (Wahlberg) wordt in de 'vrije, blije' jaren zeventig gescout door pornoregisseur Jack Horner (Reynolds). Al snel wordt Eddie, inmiddels omgedoopt tot Dirk Diggler, een van de grote sterren binnen het genre.
