Georgy Girl. Georgy Girl is a 1966 British romantic comedy-drama movie directed by Silvio Narizzano and was based on the 1965 novel of the same name by Margaret Foster. It stars Lynn Redgrave, James Mason, Alan Bates, Charlotte Rampling, Bill Owen, Clare Kelly, Rachel Kempson, Denise Coffey, Dandy Nichols and was distributed by Columbia Pictures.

It made Number Three in the UK and was nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar as it was also the theme tune from the 1966 movie of the same name, starring Lynn Redgrave and James Mason.
