The International Olympic Committee (IOC) today elected London as the host city of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in 2012 during the 117th IOC Session in Singapore. London beat Paris in the final round of voting by 54 votes to 50.
6 de oct. de 2005 · LONDON 2012: LOCOG Formally Established The Organising Committee for the Games of the XXX Olympiad – London 2012 (LOCOG) held the first meeting of its interim Board this week in London. During the meeting, a number of issues were resolved, notably, the Organising Committee was formally established, office space for LOCOG was confirmed and a funding agreement was announced.
