From '86, there's so much to love about this Jim Hall Trio record. It is adventurous and outside, and the ensemble demonstrates great musical communication. Jim's D'Aquisto tone is mid-rangey and dark, which contrasts with the brighter articulation of LaSpina's bass, and snare brush work.
