Although Motorbass have scarcely more than a few singles and an album to their name, their mature, confident fusion of hip-hop and funk with the party vibe of disco and the driving soul of house made their name almost synonymous with innovative club music.
Along with St Germain, Motorbass (who later became Cassuis & Ettienne De crecy) deserve a lot of respect for their part in kicking off the scene which is so alive today. This album is heavily influenced by old skool hiphop and house music, and it is most noticible in the excelent Ezio.

Motorbass didn't alter much to the original, just removed the vocals and kinda put the bassline in a loop, added a hi-hat and a rimshot and a kickin' bassdrum. Throughout the track is a helicopter-like sound and trancy bleeps and blops whitch realy work and make this track sound sinister and realy funky at the same time.
