4 de mar. de 2024 · Gloucestershire’s Zak O’Sullivan is taking the next steps towards his dream of reaching Formula One as he heads to the Middle East to make his Formula 2 debut in Bahrain. The 19-year-old, from Withington, near Cheltenham, joins the championship ahead of its most eagerly-anticipated season for many years, with a new-for-2024 car and a fiercely-competitive field.
In 2023, Zak joined PREMA Racing for the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship. He had a stellar year, achieving 4 wins, 1 pole, and 5 podiums. Closing the season as runner-up, Zak secured the most race wins of any driver in the championship. Zak graduates to FIA Formula 2 for the 2024 season, joining the reigning team champions ART Grand Prix.
2 de jun. de 2005 · Zak O’Sullivan started off car racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship back in 2019 where he placed second before achieving the same result in British F4 in 2020. The following year he scored the top prize in the GB3 Championship before making his debut in FIA Formula 3 with Carlin back in 2022, with his podium scoring outing in Zandvoort proving to be the highlight.
