Breve introducción histórica. El Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Manuel de Falla” hunde sus raíces históricas en 1854 cuando se funda en la ciudad de Cádiz una academia de enseñanza musical. En 1859 recibe el nombre de “Academia Santa Cecilia” y su formalización legal se produjo, en realidad, el 1 de agosto de 1860.
