It was fought on 3–4 October 1993, in Mogadishu , Somalia , between forces of the United States —supported by UNOSOM II —against the forces of the Somali National Alliance (SNA) and armed irregulars of south Mogadishu.

Hace 4 días · On Oct. 3, 1993, 19 soldiers died in a battle that has become known as Black Hawk Down. Those killed in action consisted of Army Rangers, Delta Force operators, Night Stalker helicopter crew members and soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division.
